Card making

Let that sh*t go

If you’ve ever wondered what happens when pigeons and raccoons team up in the middle of a candy pink brick alley… well, wonder no more. Because my newest handmade card features Gerda Steiner’s iconic pigeons doing what pigeons do best (looking cute but absolutely up to no good), while a couple of mischievous raccoons rummage through the trash like it’s their weekend hobby.
Spoiler: it 100% is.

To set the perfect “urban wildlife takeover” scene, I used my favorite brick stencil with some deliciously pink Distress Oxides, because who says chaos can’t be aesthetic? The critters are all coloured with Copic markers, giving those fluffy trash bandits and feathery troublemakers the spotlight they fully believe they deserve.

And let’s talk sentiment:
“Let That Shit Go.”
Honestly, the pigeons told me to put it on the card. The raccoons agreed, but only after stealing it, hoarding it, and then pretending it was their idea. Classic.

This card has:
🧱 Pink bricks.
🕊️ Drama pigeon.
🦝 Dumpster-diving raccoon.
💩 A life lesson we all need.

Perfect for anyone who could use a laugh, a nudge to release the nonsense, or just loves a card full of adorable pests doing pest-like things. Because really… if they can let it go (trash, dignity, stability), so can we.
