Home Sweet Home

My Instagram friend moved houses and I needed a pink, cloud card (these are the two things she loves most on cards). I used my Lawn Fawn set “Happy Village” and some homemade cloud stencils and dies for the scene. I had some leftover green cardstock as well as some old rose. This card looks difficult, but is a real quick and easy one. I made this in a short online crafting session with some IG friends and normally a card cost me a day from planning up to putting it in the envelop. This time, it cost me 3 hours with a lot of chatting. Maybe, one of the reasons is I choose my dies from the stamp set over fuzzy cutting. Normally I like it more without the white birders, but sometimes you have to do things differently 😉

For the clouds I used my fav distress oxide “tumbled “glass” and stayed in 4 colour combinations of the Copic markers, the warm Grays W0-W7 and browns E70-77, the reds R20-27, greens G21-28 and the sun got some YG39, Y19 and Y15. Real easy colouring, no gel pen marks, just quick and easy colouring. I also used almost no dimension on this card, just the base layer and the little sentiment bubble were put on some foam tape. Of course, I used my CREAlies scalloped die as well as the normal stitched die on all pieces. Hope you like this really easy card. I enter the any occasion challenge from Addicted to Stamps and more and Crafty Calendar and the stencil challenge from Beyond the blue.

Happy Crafting,
