Another card swap card and my challenge were pink again. I guess I really need to start buying more pink colours. I got inspired by the beautiful card I saw from Kate Haynes and wanted to make my own version. I used the birds set is from Clearly Besotted “Some Birdie loves you” and the branch from Lawn fawn “A Bug a Deal”. Love the blue with the pink and gold combination of this card. The pink design paper is from Kaisercraft, the “lullaby collection” 6 1/2 paper pack. It is a really nice and subtle pink. I coloured the cute birdies with my Copics in B20-29 and YR04, Y38 and Y15 for the beaks and feet.
The little flowers are coloured in R20-R26 and I used some Lawn fawn notes dies with gold paper, as well as this beautiful you die from the dollar store. The gold is really thick card stock from Stampin’ Up and pops up real good. I stamped the sentiment on black paper with my VersaMagic chalk ink. Of course, every layer and sentiment got some stitched edge, as I love my stitched dies from Crealies so much. As I used design paper, this card was really quick and only needed some colouring.
