Me Me Me day

My card swap group had another birthday. I just received my order of my two new distress oxides “speckled egg” and “hickory smoke” and made a brick wall stencil background with these two colours. I used the cute cats from My favorite Things, the “house cats” stamp set. Perfect for the cats (and dogs) challenge from Make my Monday. I coloured them in my C0-C5 and W0-W5 (and C/W7-C/W9 for the dark stripes) and added dome R30 cheeks with white gel pen dots. The plant got a pot in the same W colours and is in the greens G20-G28. I added a banner from Lawn Fawn “virtual friends add on” in C0/1 and R24/21, as well as party hats in the same colour from a Mama Elephant, set called “the dog’s woof” I added some rose gold stickles to it for some extra sparkle. With 2 critters, I had to enter the 2 Crafty Critters monthly challenge and the anything goes one from Crafty Calendar.

Last but not least I used the sentiment from My favorite things, the “anything but basic Birthday Wishes”. I absolutely love the MFT sentiment lines. Always something fitting for every situation. This time I choose the Me Me Me sentiment, as I love that it fits the cats’ attitude. Of course, I could not resist using my new CREAlies die and mounted everything on black card stock to give it a framed look.

Happy Crafting,

Cute kitties, loving the cheese plant, it looks great positioned in front of the stencilled wall. Of course the cats look delightful in their party hats, great card Stefanie x
