Good (C)luck

I am in love with the Create a Smile stamp set “Crazy Chick”. I made another card, this time a good luck card for my Instagram pen pal who was in her exam period. I used my new Nellie Snellen slimline die to create the circles in my Lawn Fawn slimline die. I had some leftover design paper, I can’t remember the name, but it has beautiful floral texture on its design and is gorgeous. I mounted everything on black paper before adding it to my back layer, the Lawn Fawn Slimline scallop. Love the combination. The sentiment was added to a tag with white and red twine and a metal brad for some extra bling. It is quite clean and simple and enters the challenge from stamps and fun.

The chicks are coloured in mu R30-R39 range with the YR4, Y38 and Y17 for the beak and feet. I used my white gel pen for some extra details The eggs are in N0/1 and W0/1. I love the clean and simple look of this card. Hope my pen pal likes it as well, as she is a huge pink fanatic and this card has no pink at all. I really need to restock my pink paper (ok, buy pink papers as I rarely buy that colour). I enter the anything goes challenge from Love to Craft.

Happy Crafting,
