Over here the lockdown got a bit more intense and I thought to make some no occasion cards to send to people I do not see or speak to as much as I want to. I was really busy with organizing my craft room as I finally got my order from Ikea and assembled some Kallax inlets and my monitor mount arrived. Now I can claim my scrapbook area back from my home office. I know I am blessed to have the possibility of a craft room, but sharing it with my home office is a bit of a mood (or mojo) kill and it occupies far too much space I desperately need. With organizing and sorting my design papers I found a small 6×6 one from My Minds Eye, the Chalk Studio and fell in love with it again. My paper organization is far from handy and I only use the once in front of the drawer. I know I had to make a card with that one and tried my double stitched die from nCraft on it. Really like the look.

I bought a craft dump from someone on eBay and got a lot of things among those a cute little die “just because”. I do not know the brand as everything was unpacked and used. But it came with a shadow die as well and I love it. I used the inlet with black card stock and the shadow border with vellum. I really struggled with the main image. I used the Clearly Besotted stamp set “Simply Succulent”, but first I had another combination of plant and flowerpot, but I ended up with this one. I did no fancy colouring with this one, as I wanted to keep the card quick and easy. I used my Copics, but just simple Gray (w3,w1), green (YG63 with some g17) and red (r37) and used some Wink of Stella for some extra glitters. I mounted everything on foam tape and voilà, this card was finished almost before I stared 😄. I enter the following anything goes challenges from Crafty Creations, Cute Card Thursday and The Crafters Cafe.
Happy Crafting,
Stefanie
