Reindeer Plushies

I am back on track with another Christmas card. A bit in a hurry, because I have way less cards than needed, same problem as every year. I saw the gorgeous card from Lisa Tilson and knew I had to make one of my own. Thank you for the last minute inspiration. The stamp set for the main image is “Prancing Plushies” from Clearly Besotted, aren’t these cute? I coloured them with my Copics and used a droop of glossy accent on their noses. Love this little detail. The background is distress ink in blues and a bit of black with a stencil from the dollar store direct on the card base itself. I don’t do that often, because it can be messy and you get smooches easily on your cards, especially when you are in a hurry to make many many more.

But I didn’t want to just copy Lisa her card, and I love adding tags on cards. So with this thought I added a tag with the Lawn Fawn sentiment from the “Say what? Christmas Critters” stamp set and combined it with the “Joy of the Woods” mistletoe. A bit of red and white twine and two jingle bells and the tag as well as the card were finished, after layering up and glueing everything together of course. A sweet little Winter themed Christmas card perfect for the challenge from Scrapping4Fun, CraftyCalendar and CRAFT. Hope you liked this one as much as I did and don’t forget to visit Lisa her version as well.

Happy Crafting,
Stefanie
