Bee-long Together

The Lawn Fawnatic challenge this time is “Little Things” and I saw Nicole Gavaldon awesome card and knew I had to make my own version of this one. I guess hubby will get a lot of anniversary cards this year.. first month, 3 month… 😀

So I used the “Bugs and Kisses” stamp set from Lawn fawn for everything. The little bees got some colour from my Copics as well as some glitter with my fav Wink of Stella.

For the background I dipped some “Crushed Curry” ink from Stampin’ Up on my stamp press, sprayed some water on it and rubbed my water colour paper on it. I used the Crealies stitched die for my background paper and embossed two little gold hearts on my water colour paper, stamped the sentiment in yet black Archival Ink. The black stripe was embossed with the Stampin’ Up embossing folder Hexagons.

In the last step I added some gold and yellow sequins in different sizes to the card to give it a finished and balanced look. I love the bright colour and think it is perfect for the bright and fun challenge from Creatalicious. As someone staying at home for the summer vacation, this card also fits the summer challenge from Creative Craft Cottage and Sweet Stampers for all the people staying at home and enjoying the nature around us. I also enter the “things with wings” challenge from Dragonfly Dreams.

Happy Crafting,
