It is so unbelievable hot here, or at least for us it is really hot and I really need some refreshing cold weather. So I made some with a Christmas card. So my favourite place in the (at the moment) are the winter wonderlands (ok, it is a where and when kind of place) and fits the Lawn Fanatics Challenge as well as the Christmas Challenges from C.R.A.F.T. and Crimbo Crackers.
I used the Lawn Fawn “Joy in the Woods” stamp set (the sentiment is inside the card) which I coloured with my Copics and created a simple winter scene with some hills and a night sky. The sky is made with some distress inks (black, evergreen bough and faded jeans) and some star dies from MFT.

To get a more dramatic winter sky, I used a small piece of vellum over the bold colours and got a more winter-soft version of a sky. The ornaments got some glitter with my “Wink of Stella” brush and my first winter/ Christmas card is done.
Happy Crafting,
Stefanie

I'm impressed you're still crafting, the blistering heat in the UK has really dampened my creativity but its getting cooler with storms. Anyway I adore your wintry scene, the Fox is super cute and what a great idea to use vellum to create a softer look. Take care Stefanie x
lovely card and thanks for sharing at craft this week and good luck in the draw
If only looking at a winter snow scene could make things cooler! Thank you so much for sharing with us at the CRAFT challenge this time.
