I know, I know. Another Panda, but I really liked that stamp set. It is the month of my male friends birthdays coming up. So again, no glitter and sparkly things. Boo, but it is a chance as well. And this birthday was even more of a challenge. The friend is going through a tough time, so it had to be a more subtle card and no screaming birthday all over the place kind of card.
So my plan was a simple card in the black and red colour scheme. I used the background paper from Echo Park “Winter Park” to create a darkish theme. The happy and colourful “Head over Heels” from BoBunny had to be in contract with it. My focus point is the panda from Stampin’ Ups’ “Party Panda” stamp set, one of my favourites for the Addicted to Stamps Challenge
I ordered the hugs die a while back from Ali-express and have to say that I love it. It works great, even on thicker materials, such as card stock. I layered several red ones and on top the black version to darken up the card again.
As this is not a really normal birthday card, I thought it is fitting for anything goes from the Crimbo-Crackers Challenge.
