Rocky Fellows

by - March 13, 2018

I found a little dinosaur on my desk  from my Stone Age card and thought he looks lost without some friends. So I stamped a few more dinosaur from the Clearly Besotted "You Rock" set and was stuck. No idea whatsoever, but then I saw the lovely card from Annikarten and had to make my own version of her lovely card.

The background is inked with some distress ink called "milled lavender" and fits nicely in a more girly theme. So these spots fit the ombre theme quite well for the AAA Cards challenge. I used some Crealies dies for the layer, so I get a stitched rectangle and added three circle for the critters to get their own spot lights. All done with die cuts and perfect for the Use your Stuff challenge.

To get a more "authentic" look, all the dinosaurs are coloured in a warm Gray. This way it will not get too colourful and fits in my more CAS theme I had in my head. And I hope it is Gray enough for the "When Skies are Gray" Challenge from Double D.

I added a sentiment on black paper and white ink (maybe I will emboss it later for a stronger contrast). Some sequins and this card was done.

Happy Crafting,
